Encinitas Studio. Original Works. Made to be felt.
Art, made
to be felt.
From original paintings and immersive experiences to deeply personal commissions, Suchi creates in color what words often cannot hold: memory, belonging, joy, movement, and connection.
Suchi's Story
Suchi — Encinitas, CA
Between India and the Pacific, a language of color emerged.
Born in India and now based in Encinitas, California, Suchi is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose work is shaped by the places she has lived, the cultures she carries, and the stories people leave behind.
Her practice moves freely between painting, mixed media, public art, live performance, and immersive creative experiences. Across each form is the same instinct: to turn something deeply felt into something that can be seen, touched, shared, and remembered.
For Suchi, art has never been merely an object.
It is a way of holding on.
A way of letting go.
And sometimes, a way of beginning again.
Meet SuchiEvery painting begins somewhere before the canvas: a memory, a landscape, a fragment of fabric, a conversation, or a place once called home.
Suchi's work brings these fragments together through layers of color, texture, and intuition, allowing one story to become another in the eyes of the person who encounters it.
Memory, movement and the irresistible vocabulary of color.
Vibrance of India
Rooted in resilience. Reaching toward possibility.
Tree of Hope
A meditation on light, landscape and a place gradually becoming home.
California Dreaming
What does it mean to arrive somewhere, and slowly become part of it?
Belonging
An inward journey toward identity, acceptance and self.
Asmi — As I Am
I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way— things I had no words for.
Art should not simply be looked at.
It should enter your life.
There are many ways to experience art —
You can live with it / Make it / Give it / Watch it unfold / Or ask an artist to turn something meaningful to you into something that did not exist before.

Commission Something Personal
Some stories deserve more than a photograph. A beloved pet. A home filled with memories. A person impossible to buy for. A wall waiting for its story. Suchi creates original commissions shaped around the people, places and moments that mean something to you.

Collect
Live with something that moves you. Original paintings, prints and wearable pieces created not simply to occupy a space, but to become part of it. Because the best art doesn't match the sofa. It changes the room.
View Available Art“Art is for everybody.”
And creativity belongs to everyone.
That transformation is small.
And enormous.
One of Suchi's greatest pleasures is watching someone approach a blank canvas convinced they cannot paint, only to leave holding something they cannot quite believe they made with their own hands.
The work continues.
Alongside new work in the studio, Suchi continues to exhibit, teach, perform, collaborate and explore the increasingly fluid space between artist and audience.
Perhaps the next story is yours.
