Although I've always been creative, I didn't embrace art as my career until later in life. That decision changed everything. It taught me that it's never too late to follow your passion, reinvent yourself, and create a life filled with purpose.

Originally from Pune, India, and now calling Encinitas, California home, my work is inspired by the places I've lived, the cultures I've experienced, and the stories that connect us all. I paint intuitive, expressive pieces layered with color, texture, and meaning, often drawing inspiration from nature, family traditions, textiles, and the simple moments that become our most treasured memories.

Art by Suchi has grown into more than a studio. It's a place where people gather to create, celebrate, and connect. From paint and sip experiences and wellness retreats to corporate workshops, custom commissions, and wearable art, every offering is designed to make creativity approachable, joyful, and meaningful.

One of my greatest joys is helping others discover that they don't need to be an artist to make art. Some of my favorite moments happen when someone says, "I didn't think I could do this," and leaves with a painting they're proud of and a smile they didn't expect.

When I'm not in the studio, you'll often find me collaborating with local businesses, exploring new creative ideas, traveling for inspiration, or dreaming up my next workshop or collection.
