About Suchita Rathi Jhawar
Suchi paints to tell a story, drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors of her native India and the Southern California landscape where she now resides. Working from her studio in Encinitas, she uses a variety of mediums to bring her emotions to life.
Her love of exploration through art began in her childhood in India. Travels and emotions fuel her creativity, leading her to exhibit at various art shows and galleries in Encinitas, where she also raised her family. Beyond her artwork, Suchita volunteers in art museums, curates workshops, and fundraises for charitable causes through art events.
She recently completed an International Artist Residency at the Chateau Orquevaux in France, and her artwork can be found in homes worldwide. She welcomes commissions to bring personal visions to life on canvas or murals.
“I find that I can say things with colors and my brush that I have no other way of expressing, and I hope that my viewer leaves with a little bit of magic in their heart.”
